General information

COVID-19 has greatly disrupted our lives and we must stay united to get through this trying period. In support of Singapore government’s circuit-breaker measures to stem the community spread until 4 May 2020, this Circuit Breaker Virtual Run hopes to foster healthy living lifestyle in our sporting community. You are kindly reminded to strictly maintain good social distancing while outside. This is an initiative between Orange Room and Ideas Room Consulting.

“We may be down but we are not out”, that’s our battle cry.

During the “Circuit Breaker” period, dedicate one day to do a minimum 5KM run or schedule three runs on three different days for a total 5KM distance – you decide.  Capture your run on your GPS tracking device and submit your run data, one or three data to earn our uniquely designed tee and medal. You run can be done indoor too.

Lastly, we would like to say a big ‘Thank You’ to all the healthcare workers who have been working tirelessly at the frontline of the epicentre. The sporting community stands united to fight alongside with them by playing our part in keeping ourselves safe and healthy. We will prevail for we are #sgunited!

What is a Virtual Challenge?

A virtual challenge is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.

Virtual challenge works exactly the same as any other type of sports events (e.g. running or cycling) but the difference is that the entered race can be completed at any location, either outdoors or indoors on a machine.

All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running/fitness app, a photo of the machine screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.



Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, run for good causes and get awesome medals and other entitlements for your participation!

Announcement from Organiser (10 June 2020)

– For those who registered and completed before 6 June 2020

Firstly, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your overwhelming support to Circuit Breaker Virtual Run which has ended on 1 June 2020.  In order to ensure the medals and tees will reach you at your doorstep, we will be arranging a team of runners to handle the delivery. This is part of our effort to support some of the self-employed professionals in these difficult times. Only participants residing outside Singapore will have their race items mailed to them.

As we are in Phase 1 of post Circuit Breaker period, we are taking extra precaution by not operating in a big team, thus dispatching will be done on a controlled basis.  Therefore, we seek your understanding that some may get theirs earlier while others a little longer.  However, please be assured that no one will be left out as we have had indented more than the number of participants.  We hope to complete delivery of the medals and tees by the end of June if all goes well.
