General information

The Road to Glory : North America Virtual Marathon 2026 brings together the passion of running and the excitement of the Football World Cup. Inspired by the host nations — USA, Canada, and Mexico — this virtual marathon invites runners to chase glory one kilometer at a time. Run anywhere, anytime, and experience the thrill of the world’s biggest football celebration towards your own road to glory.

You may complete your registered distance in a single session or accumulate it over multiple runs.
For example, if you register for the 42km category and run an average of 5km per day, you will complete your challenge in approximately 8.5 days.

You are also welcome to use the same running results for other Virtual Run events, as long as they fall within the respective running periods.

  You can upload any sessions done within this period, regardless the date of your registration.

What is a Virtual Challenge?

A virtual challenge is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.

Virtual challenge works exactly the same as any other type of sports events (e.g. running or cycling) but the difference is that the entered race can be completed at any location, either outdoors or indoors on a machine.

All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running/fitness app, a photo of the machine screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.
