This year is a unique year for Singapore. Many events and activities are suspended. Some Singaporeans have lost their jobs or suffer from pay cut. Essential services have to change their mode of operation in order to keep their businesses going and local businesses are all affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
SGUnited Virtual Run 2020 organised by Sembawang Community Sports Club aims to bring Singapore together. Upon completion of the 5km run, a meal voucher will be donated to a needy family. In support of local businesses, all items in the race packs are from local enterprisers.
COVID-19 hits hard, but the community spirit can hit harder.

What is a Virtual Run?A virtual run is a race that you can complete at your own pace and time.
Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, either outside or inside on a treadmill.
All you have to do is register for a race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running app, a photo of the treadmill screen etc. Do check out specific instructions of the event you join for more information.
Virtual races are a great way to stay fit and active all year round, run for good causes and get awesome medals and other entitlements for your participation!
